Read & Study Site Objectives.

This site is the outgrowth of two instructional experiences.  First was teaching for the Ministry of Education in Japan, Saudi Arabia and The United Arab Emirates for the past ten years.  Second was teaching "Reading and Study Skills" at Boise State University as a Graduate Assistant to Dr. Jamie Armstrong, the author of Reading Skills for College Study, one of two texts for the course.  In this program we also used Marcia Heiman and Joshua Slomianko's Learning to Learn text, which is recommended by the U.S. Department of Education.
